Ashton Kutcher has admitted he continues to “work” at his marriage with Demi Moore.
The No Strings Attached star has been married to the actress for eight years, and like many Hollywood couples, their relationship has been subject to rumours that all is not well in the love department.
“I have no advice for anyone, I’m just trying to make mine work,” he revealed.
“Great relationships are great partnerships and they come in all sorts of different moulds, shapes, sizes and forms. The only tip I have for anyone in a relationship is to work on it.”
He added: “It’s very easy to take that break, but that’s the time you have to keep working on it, and it will be worthwhile.”
Like his character Adam in the romantic comedy, which also stars Natalie Portman, Ashton admits to being a late starter in the dating game.
“I was a bit of a fumbler. I didn’t have girlfriends until I was a senior in high school. I was nervous about the whole thing,” he said.
Ashton thinks of himself as a romantic, but prefers not to divulge any details.
“Romance is normally not a grand gesture, it is something very simple but very personal. It would be unimpressive to a stranger,” he added.
