A man is due to appear in court charged with murdering a newlywed who was on honeymoon in South Africa with her British husband.
Anni Dewani, 28, and her husband Shrien, 31, from Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, were carjacked by armed robbers in a township on the outskirts of Cape Town late on Saturday night.
The gunmen forced the couple’s driver and Mr Dewani out of the vehicle before driving off. Swedish-born Mrs Dewani’s body was found the next day.
The 26-year-old suspect, who has not been named, stands charged with the honeymooner’s murder and hijacking, South African police said.
