Matt LeBlanc has got a new “co-driver” on Top Gear.
The host, 48, shared a picture of him filming for the upcoming series with rapper Tinie Tempah, 27, on location in South Africa.
Pictured sitting next to each other in a blue Porsche and both flashing a thumbs up to the camera, Matt captioned the picture: “My co driver for a few days. Tinie Tempah going low.”
Matt and Tinie, whose real name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, have been filming together for several days, with the rapper tweeting a funny selfie to BBC Radio 1′s Greg James on Monday showing Matt pulling a terrified face at the wheel of the car.
It is unknown what they are filming, but they could be going head-to-head in a Top Gear host-and-popstar challenge with Chris Evans and Sharleen Spiteri, as Chris shared a picture with her in the country on Sunday.
The BBC presenter wrote: “Spiteri Top Gearing. South Africa. Top Girl.”
South African news sources are reporting that the gang is filming in Durban.
Of the new seven-strong presenting line-up, only Chris and Matt have shared images of themselves in South Africa but they appear to be living the high life, with Matt sharing a picture of his arrival by helicopter.
