The biggest surprise so far has been the appointment of Boris Johnson as the new Foreign Secretary.

Philip Hammond has been appointed as Chancellor of the exchequer – Amber Rudd has been named Home Secretary – and the new Secretary of State for International Trade is Liam Fox.
