Joaquin Phoenix has apparently been offered a lead part in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
The Walk The Line actor is the front-runner to play Henry, a mentor who teaches the President how to kill vampires, Deadline reports.
Benjamin Walker is set to play the 16th American President in the film adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith novel.
The film has Tim Burton among its producers and Timur Bekmambetov in the director’s chair.
Joaquin has apparently been told that the part is his if he wants it.
