Prince Andrew Settles Sexual Abuse Lawsuit With Accuser Virginia Giuffre

Must read

Prince Andrew has reached an out-of-court settlement in the New York Federal lawsuit that accused him of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre.

According to her claim, she was directed by the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and procurer, Ghislaine Maxwell to have sex with Prince Andrew at various locations when she was underage.

In a document submitted to the United States District Court on Tuesday, Ms Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies wrote jointly with Andrew’s lawyers to say that the parties had “reached a settlement in principle”.

The sum of the settlement to be paid was not disclosed in the document but it also also said that Prince Andrew will in addition make “a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.”

A related document released also states that Andrew has pledged to “demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein” by supporting the “fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.”
