Prince Andrew’s Heckler Charged

The man that heckled at Prince Andrew during the royal procession of the late Queen Elizabeth’s coffin in Edinburgh on Monday has been charged.

The 22 year old man was arrested for heckling at the Prince Andrew was charged with a breach of the peace during the procession.

The man heckled at the the Prince as he walked behind his mother’s coffin as it made it’s way from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles Cathedral. He was later released by police in an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later future date.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace on the Royal Mile around 2.50pm on Monday, September 12.

“He was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”

The police is yet t9 confirm if there were any other inquiries regarding this incident.
