Engine maker Rolls-Royce has unveiled a long-term services deal with Emirates worth 1.4 billion pounds

Rolls-Royce has revealed another contracts boost by unveiling a long-term services deal with Emirates worth 2.2 billion US dollars (£1.4 billion).

The agreement under its TotalCare scheme will see Rolls’ technicians maintain the Trent engines of 70 Airbus planes the airliner is due to take delivery of in the next few years.

It follows a 1.2 billion US dollar (£700 million) deal in November to service the Rolls engines on 48 Emirates planes already being flown or on order by the airline.
