Samsung unveiled a new addition to its long list of hardware and software offerings: the Bixby virtual voice assistant.
As revealed in a press release from Samsung, Bixby is a virtual assistant similar in format to Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistants but different to competitors’ variants thanks to Bixby’s ability to fully support any app that becomes ‘Bixby-enabled’.
This means that Bixby will be able to support almost every task of an enabled app, rather than just the few selected tasks typical of other voice assistants.
