German police have deployed officers near a refugee centre outside Nuremberg where an explosion involving a suitcase was reported today.
A branch of the country’s office for asylum-seekers is also in attendance.
There was no report of any injuries.
The area is in northern Bavaria, which has seen two attacks claimed by the so-called ‘Islamic State’ group in the past 10 days.
