Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have yet to tie the knot, but the Modern Family star is already looking forward to having children with her fiance.
The 42-year-old actress, who already has a 22-year-old son with her first husband Joe Gonzalez, admitted she wouldn’t want to be a 50-year-old expecting a baby.
She told Australian magazine Woman’s Day: “Joe is younger than me. He’s 38. He’s never had kids.
“I tell him if we’re going to, we have to do it, like, now, because I don’t want to be 50 with a baby.”
Fortunately, Joe is also keen to become a dad.
The Magic Mike XXL star told Haute Living Magazine: “I have always wanted to be a dad. I’ve always wanted kids. I’ve always been open about that.”
The couple got engaged in December after six months of dating, with a wedding date already set.
Sofia is going through a frozen embryo battle with her ex-fiance Nick Loeb, who wants to fertilise and raise them without her.
The actress said of her ex: “I’m having fun and enjoying my life – he’s got nothing.”
