Spanish police have arrested four teenagers after the hit-and-run killing of a police officer in the north-eastern province of Huesca.
Police say officer Jose Antonio Perez stopped a vehicle to carry out an alcohol test and leaned into the car on Friday night.
The driver accelerated, dragging the officer 500 yards. The vehicle then hit a guard rail and crashed in to an oncoming car, flinging 54-year-old Perez on to the road where he died.
Police say the youths then fled, abandoning Perez and two people injured in the other car.
Police arrested two 17-year-olds and two 14-year-olds today and delivered them to court officials in the city of Barbastro.
