Syrian Government Retakes Palmyra from ISIS.

Must read

Syrian military army have retaken the city of Palmyra from so called Islamic State, IS. The Syrian army is now in full control of this ancient city of Palmyra and it’s residential neighborhoods.

This is a significant milestone for the government of Syria and it has been a very difficult journey since Palmyra fell to the hands of IS last year. The entire monuments and temples were destroyed and major antiquities stolen.
