Police in the United States have arrested a man after finding his cell phone charging at the scene of a burglary.
The alarm was raised when the son of a Maryland homeowner arrived home and disturbed an intruder going through rooms in the property.
Startled, the burglar jumped out a window and fled.
The son called police, who searched the home and found a cell phone charging in an electric socket.
The phone led Montgomery County police to 25-year-old Cody Wilkins, who was later charged in connection with a string of burglaries.
