A row over snowballs led three men to be arrested on suspicion of disorder.
A resident in Park Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle, remonstrated with a group who were throwing snowballs at people’s windows in the area.
Police were called after three men were reported to have become threatening towards the householder.
Officers said they arrested men aged 18, 19 and 20 on suspicion of public order offences.
