TikTok is now available in the US Apple and Google apps stores after President Trump temporarily paused the enforcement of the ban following the TikTok controversy that led to its temporary suspension on 18 January.
The Chinese Technology company, Bytedance who owns TikTok was told to comply with the US law requiring Bytedance to divest the app to US company ownership or be banned in the country.
The popular social media app had more than 170 million Americans users and its temporary suspension created a huge meltdown amongst Americans users which led to thousands of Americans migrating to RedNote another Chinese social media calling themselves TikTok refugees.
Bytedance have not confirmed any sale yet.
