Tinie Tempah said he was planning a big party to celebrate his double win at the Brit Awards 2011.
Speaking backstage after scooping the gongs for British breakthough act and British single, he said: “I’m going to get really messed up and everyone here is invited.
“We are going to get really wrecked.”
And the hip-hop star revealed he wanted fellow winner Rihanna to join him. He said: “I’m going to sing her brand new single to her.”
He also revealed he had suffered from awards night nerves, saying: “When I started doing the red carpet I was thinking there is so much pressure for me to deliver and I’m so happy with the two that I won because they were voted for by the public.
“I’m going to buy a wooden plank and put up a shelf in my room and put them on there.”
He claimed there were plans to recognise his success in his hometown, saying: “There are also definite talks to put a statue of me in Plumstead.
“We are deciding whether it’s going to happen with glasses or not.”
Take That’s Gary Barlow was also on a high after they picked up the British Group prize. He said: “It’s incredible. Obviously there has been a big change for us in band members and to win best band was amazing.”
Asked how he was going to celebrate, bandmate Robbie Williams said: “We’ve got a party and then who knows? I can’t wait to get back to the flat, hug the wife and have a cup of tea and biscuits.”
