Two people have died after shots were fired at a bus carrying US soldiers at Frankfurt airport.
An airport spokesman said the shooting “near or on” the bus took place in front of Terminal 2 at continental Europe’s second-biggest airport hub.
Police said two people were killed and two wounded. There was no immediate information on their identities.
The US military has several major bases in the Frankfurt region, often used as a logistical hub for operations in Afghanistan or Iraq.
