The latest scam sees WhatsApp users being tricked into paying for usage. The User gets a message asking them to pay a nominal fee for a lifetime subscription to WhatsApp, tricking them into giving their payment details to the scammers.
Whatsapp is free to use but as they used to charge a small fee, some users could be easily tricked into paying. Needless to say anyone receiving such a message should immediately delete.
