4th Impact voted off X Factor

4th Impact (Mylene, Irene, Almira and Selena) were voted off the X factor during the semi-finals.

4th Impact have been voted off the ‘X Factor’.

The girl group faced a sing-off against Lauren Murray on Sunday’s (29.11.15) episode of the ITV show but were eliminated after the judges took the vote to Deadlock.

4th Impact – comprised of sisters Mylene, Irene, Almira and Selena – performed ‘And I Am Telling You’ in their battle for survival while Lauren Murray chose ‘Vision Of Love’.

Rita Ora voted to keep her act Lauren in the competition while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini praised Lauren for giving her best performance of the competition but ultimately chose to save her own group.

Nick Grimshaw opted to save Lauren but Simon – who called it the best sing-off the ‘X Factor’ has ever had – picked 4th Impact, bringing the competition to Deadlock, with 4th Impact getting the lowest public vote.

Earlier Che Chesterman, Reggie N Bollie and Louisa Johnson received enough votes from the public to go through to next week’s semi-final.

Che’s relief at surviving for another week was evident after his performance of Adele’s ‘Hello’ failed to win over the judges on Saturday (28.11.15).

However, he was praised for his second track of the night, ‘Try A Little Tenderness’.

Louisa revealed she has been put on vocal rest after battling illness during the week while Reggie N Bollie, who received praise from all four judges for both of their songs on Saturday, have been hotly tipped to make the final.

Meanwhile, Lauren’s mentor Rita Ora performed her new single with Sigma while Carrie Underwood also took to the stage and admitted she still finds Simon intimidating.

Referring to the music mogul, who was a judge on ‘American Idol’ when she competed on the show, Carrie explained: “It’s been a while since I performed in front of Simon, it’s still intimidating but it’s great to be here.”
