Actor David Arquette was in a car accident in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon but was not seriously hurt, his publicist said.
The 39-year-old actor was “OK” after the collision and was being treated, publicist Cindy Guagenti said.
The Beverly Hills Fire Department said the head-on collision happened on Doheny Drive, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard along the city’s border with West Hollywood. She could not provide details on the victims or their status.
Celebrity website TMZ reported that Arquette was in a head-on collision and posted pictures that showed the actor lying on a patch of roadside grass next to a pair of vehicles with damage on their front bumpers and airbags deployed.
Video posted on the site showed paramedics and firefighters putting a man who appears to be Arquette on a stretcher and lifting him into an ambulance.
Arquette and wife Courteney Cox announced that they were separating in October.
The pair met when they appeared in the film Scream in 1996, and are co-starring in the fourth instalment of the horror series due out later this year.
They have a six-year-old daughter together.
Arquette has also starred in the films Never Been Kissed and 3000 Miles to Graceland.
