Beyonce has treated her rapper husband Jay-Z to the world’s fastest road car, according to reports.
The Crazy In Love star paid £1.3 million for the Bugatti Veyron Sport for the rapper’s 41st birthday, The Sun said.
A source said: “Jay-Z has one of the most enviable collections of bling motors in the world – but even for him the Bugatti is special.”
Beyonce had to wait a year to receive the supercar, which can do 225mph and goes from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds, after ordering it, but managed to keep it a secret.
Jay-Z, who already owns a Maybach 62S, Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster, was said to be thrilled with the surprise.
The present won’t make too much of a dent in Beyonce’s pocket – last year the couple became the highest-earning couple in showbiz, raking in £68 million between them in the 12 months to June 2009.
