Former US President George Bush says he does not miss much about the White House – just the pampering.
Mr Bush told more than 3,000 people at a Florida retirement community that he missed the convenience of Air Force One and never waiting in traffic jams.
But the 43rd president said that most of all, he missed being commander in chief of the US military.
In his 30-minute speech, he talked about what it is like to return the salute of men and women.
It was part of his national tour to promote his new book, Decision Points.
