Charlie Sheen has been released from hospital, his publicist said.
The Two and a Half Men star was taken to hospital in Los Angeles by ambulance earlier on Friday after suffering from severe abdominal pains.
Publicist Stan Rosenfield said the actor had a history of hernia problems and insisted Charlie would be back on the set of the hit CBS show when a filming hiatus finishes on Tuesday.
The Emmy-nominated star has been dogged by personal problems and apparent health issues.
This is his third stay in hospital in recent months.
Last week, CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said network officials have “a high level of concern” about his off-camera behaviour.
