It could to be this year’s ultimate Christmas gift – a £10,000 cracker stuffed with gold.
The unusual present – a metal cracker containing five 22-carat gold coins, has been unveiled by the Royal Mint.
The cracker is unique, with only one being made for sale.
Each coin has a monetary value of £5 if used in a shop, but would fetch thousands more if sold individually.
The gift is so valuable that it is being guarded by officers at the Royal Mint’s secure site.
