Thrones star Emilia Clarke has revealed why she has been hobbling about on crutches – she simply slipped.
The actress – Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO show – has been pictured sporting some kind of leg injury.
She told the BBC’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw that she had a nickname for the crutches.
“They’re called Bill and Ben, I’ve got a stress fracture on my hip,” she said.
“I want to say it’s for doing Parkour or something. But I just slipped. It’s really boring.”
Emilia also told how she played pranks on her Me Before You co-star Sam Claflin while shooting the forthcoming movie.
“I play pranks on him quite a lot and he never quite manages to come back,” she said.
“I didn’t manage to eat all my fish at lunch so I put them in the bottom of his socks… He had to throw them away and I had to buy him new socks because I felt so bad.”
But she added that he did get his revenge at least once, saying: “He nicked all of the furniture out of my room (trailer).”
The actress has also filmed the role of Sarah Connor in the film Terminator Genisys, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“I did a fair few of my stunts,” she said, adding: “I tried very hard to be a bad-ass movie star.”
She said that she sometimes spills the beans on what’s going to happen in Game Of Thrones to her friends and family.
“People more than often get annoyed,” she added. “They don’t want to know.”
