Eva Longoria has said she was honoured to host Gordon Ramsay at her Los Angeles restaurant Beso.
The Desperate Housewives actress opened the Tex-Mex restaurant in 2009 with American celebrity chef Todd English, and Eva told Tatler she was delighted when Gordon paid a visit.
“Having Gordon in the restaurant was a huge honour,” she said.
“He was impressed and kind to our executive chef and staff. He’s a real gem, I adore him.”
Eva, whose own recipe for tortilla soup is on the menu, added that her interest in food stems from her childhood.
“We weren’t allowed to eat fast food. We grew our own vegetables – that’s why I’m obsessed with the Food Network,” she said.
