Fiat Chrysler is having to recall 1.7 million trucks because of problems with airbags and welds on the steering system.
The problem affects Ram models built between 2012 and 2014 and mainly concerns customers in the US.
A wiring issue can lead to the driver’s side airbags inflating without having a crash.
