Rumours have been rife for weeks now that Google are to introduce ad-blocking on the Chrome browser. Indications are that this is set to be introduced early in 2018 and it will be available on both mobile and desktop.
Chrome is already the number 1 web browser and this will see Google leading the way in delivering a better user experience with more and more users already implementing some form of ad blocking software.
Google also announced that it has joined the industry group ‘Coalition for Better Ads’ and this will likely see Google better filter ads showing more appropriate and compliant ones
