The new tenants of the house where Oscar Pistorius shot dead his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp have said they plan to host parties every weekend at the property – and “hot girls can invite themselves”.
Former Olympic athlete Pistorius sold the house, in the South African city of Pretoria, to pay his legal fees after being put on trial for her murder.
The house is reportedly being rented out by the new owner to tenants – named as David Scott, 33, and Kagiso Mokoape, 23, by South African television channel Netwerk24.
The pair announced their party plans in a video posted by the station on YouTube.
In the video, new tenant Mokoape says: “Every weekend, it’s going to go down here.”
Flatmate Scott adds that “hot girls can invite themselves”.
The tenants have defended their decision to host the parties, with Scott saying it was “not too soon”.
Reeva was shot dead on Valentine’s Day 2013.
Last year, after a six month trial, Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide but cleared of her murder, saying he thought she was an intruder when he fired at her.
