Jude Law, Isla Fisher, Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine and Alec Baldwin are to voice the lead roles in a 3D epic from DreamWorks Animation.
Rise Of The Guardians follows a group of heroic childhood legends with extraordinary abilities, Variety said.
The film will be based on The Guardians Of Childhood, an upcoming series of children’s books written by William Joyce, who will co-direct the flick with Peter Ramsey.
British star Jude will voice Pitch, an evil spirit, Hugh will be the Easter bunny, Alec is Santa Claus, Isla is the tooth fairy and Chris will voice Jack Frost.
Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro will executive produce the film, set for release in November next year.
“When we bring Bill Joyce’s imaginative vision to the screen in 2012, audiences will experience an incredible story with a truly epic sense of adventure,” Bill Damaschke, DreamWorks Animation’s chief creative officer, said in a statement to Variety.
