A manhunt is underway in California after three prisoners escaped from a maximum security prison.
The escaped inmates, including an alleged killer, managed to abseil from the roof of the building.
They broke out of the Orange County Central Men’s Jail in Santa Ana.
Orange County sheriff’s lieutenant Jeff Hallock explained how they got out: “It seems that the inmates cut through half inch steel bars to facilitate their escape.
“The information and evidence also suggests that the inmates cut through the plumbing tunnels and ultimately gained access to an unsecure area of the roof.”
