Vince Vaughn has become a dad.
Christmas has come early for the actor, after his wife Kyla Weber gave birth to baby girl Locklyn Kyla on December 18.
Locklyn, who weighed in at 7lbs, was born at a hospital in Vince’s hometown of Chicago, and a spokesperson for the star confirmed the good news to People.com.
“Both of them couldn’t be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family!” a friend of the couple told the magazine.
It is the first taste of parenthood for the 40-year-old and Kyla, a Canadian estate agent who he married in January 2010.
Vince’s next big-screen appearance is in The Dilemma alongside Kevin James and Jennifer Connelly, which opens in cinemas on January 21, 2011.
