Rihanna and her boyfriend Matt Kemp have split after almost a year together, according to reports.
The singer is currently holidaying in her native Barbados, where she has been spotted jet-skiing in a tiny bikini and dining with the likes of Simon Cowell and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green.
But UsMagazine.com quoted a source as saying Rihanna’s work schedule was the reason for the split, adding: “It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it.”
Baseball player Matt, 26, and Rihanna, 22, were first spotted together last January.
In June, Rihanna said of Matt: “I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable and it’s so easy. (The relationship) is just my peace. It keeps me sane.”
But the star didn’t appear too heartbroken during her beach holiday, when she tweeted: “Just had dinner w/ Simon Cowell Philip Green… Great night!”
She added: “The Bahamas! This is a lil more like it…dolphins, beach, sun and fun.”
