Rishi Sunak has been appointed by Kings Charle, the British monarch after he accepted the resignation of Liz Truss, the outgoing UK Prime Minister.
Liz Truss made a record by being the shortest serving Prime Minister the country as ever had in office, serving just 49 days total.
Rishi Sunak, 42 years old made history today by being the the UK first Hindu Prime Minister serve and also invited to be the new leader of the Conservative Party. Mr Sunak who was the former UK chancellor is not only the first Hindu PM but also the first Prime Minister of Asian heritage.
Mr Sunak is also the youngest PM Britain as ever had in 200 years. He is expected to make a speech today at Downing Street after leaving the palace.
