Samsung’s Galaxy Note 6 will be safe underwater

Must read

Samsung is expected to announce a new phablet later this year and there are already rumours emerging about the Galaxy Note 6.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 6 will pack an IP68 rating, meaning you’ll be able to submerge it in up to 1.5m of water for half an hour. Samsung’s recent flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, re-introduced waterproofing and it looks like the Note 6 will continue this trend.

Another Samsung fansite noticed that Samsung has been importing new “iris camera” modules into India for research and development. Could this make it into the Galaxy Note 6? Time will tell.

Other rumours indicate that the Galaxy Note 6 will feature a 5.8-inch display, 6GB RAM, and run Android 7.0 N software.
