Music streaming service Spotify is launching three original podcasts as it looks to expand its original content offerings, as revealed in a news post from Spotify.
The first of the new podcasts, Showstopper, features The Fader editor in chief Naomi Zeichner and focuses on the role of music supervisors for TV shows like Stranger Things. The bi-weekly podcast launched yesterday.
The second podcast, Unpacked, covers music festivals in the US and launches March 14 with Broad City music supervisor Matt Fx and Michele Santucci of Spotify Studios on hosting duties.
The third show, The Chris Lighty Story, tells the story of a music executive who worked with rap artists including LL Cool J and 50 Cent before sadly passing away.
