Taylor Swift missed out on Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards – because she was on jury duty.
The Shake It Off singer appeared in court on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee – where she posed for selfies with fellow jurors.
Jurors took to Twitter to share their snaps with Taylor, and revealed that she was “happy to take selfies with us all”.
However, the pop star ended up being dismissed from court after she insisted that couldn’t remain impartial in a rape case, according to TMZ.
The Bad Blood singer countersued local radio host David Mueller for sexual assault and battery in October, after he claimed that she falsely accused him of groping her butt during a concert meet and greet session in Colorado back in 2013, which resulted in him losing his job.
