The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Starts With Trooping The Colour

Her Majesty The Queen’s official birthday, named Trooping the Colour is celebrated in June every year and this year it will celebrated on the 2nd of June commencing at 10 am. Over 1,400 parading British soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will participate in this traditional parade to mark Her Majesty’s official birthday that is usually celebrated on the 2 June yearly.

More than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will come together in the traditional Parade to mark The Queen’s official birthday, usually held on the second Saturday in June.
Beginning at Buckingham Palace, the Parade will move down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, joined by members of the Royal Family on horseback and in carriages. The Parade will close with the traditional RAF fly-past, watched by The Queen and members of the Royal Family from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

When is Trooping the Colour

This event is an open air event hosted by The Royal Family open to the public with no booking required.
