Trump launches missile strikes on Syria


President Donald Trump has ordered missile strikes in Syria a few hours ago. 59 Tomahawk missiles was launched at a Syrian air base after blaming President Bashar Assad for a chemical weapons attack according to officials.

Although at this stage there are no confirmed reports that Assad’s government did indeed launch this chemical attack on his people. This US launch was done without congressional approval and have caused a mixed reactions from congress.

Senators Rand Paul and Tim Kaine have been quick to tweet their disapproval of the President Trump’s actions without congressional authorisation.
