Muslim woman has been wounded with a box cutter in Marseille in an apparent revenge attack following the terrorist killings in Paris.
A Jewish teacher has also been stabbed in the city by three men claiming to be supporters of IS.
The woman was taken to the emergency room and the teacher was hospitalised.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The attacks have been described as “cowardly” by France’s interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve.
