A man and woman have been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy who was found dead in a bath on Christmas Day.
Eric Baikubi, 27, of Hathaway Crescent, Newham, east London, and a 27-year-old woman of the same address are due to appear before magistrates in London.
Officers discovered the badly-injured teenager at a flat in Hathaway Crescent, Newham, east London, about lunchtime on Saturday, after being advised he had drowned in a bath.
A post-mortem examination at East Ham Mortuary failed to determine the exact cause of death and police are awaiting the results of further tests.
