Jessica Alba is more than happy to return to Sin City 2.
The American actress is up for reprising her role as Nancy Callahan, the stripper with a heart of gold, for the sequel, which she reckons is not an if, but when.
“We (director Robert Rodriguez and I) both love doing it, and we’d like to do it again – it’s just kind of, you know, a matter of time I think,” she told The Playlist.
“We were just talking about that actually in Austin, so we’ll see. We kind of talk about Sin City every now and again, it comes up.”
Robert said last month that he is collaborating with Frank Miller, who co-directed and wrote the 2005 neo-noir crime thriller, which starred Bruce Willis, Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro.
The sequel is reported to be based on the graphic novel follow-up, A Dame To Kill For, which Frank also wrote and drew.
“Frank Miller and I are working on it,” he said on a Facebook chat.
“It’s slated to be the next one, but if the script is not ready, then we’ll have to move to the next one.”
Talk of a sequel has been around since 2007, with reports that the script has been written and the film is ready to start shooting last year.
However, production was delayed with the death of Brittany Murphy (who played barmaid and Clive’s screen on-off girlfriend) and the filmmaker focusing on Machete and Spy Kids 4.
