American President Barack Obama has asked American parents to speak to their children about the dangers of guns.
The U.S president made the comments in his monthly address.
Last week, the mass shooting of 49 people at an LGBT nightclub in Orlando was the deadliest gun attack in US history.
President Obama reassured those who lost loved ones in the attack, that they have the support of the global community: “I visited with the families and many of the victims on Thursday.
“One thing I told them is that they are not alone.
“American people and people all over the world are standing with them, and we always will.”
