Rape artist Drake dropped his long awaited mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes Friday. This is the artists first release since in 2 years.

The tape gives off the true mixtape vibes with short interludes in between songs, and features with Chris Brown and Playboy Carti. Future, a frequent collaborator, appears on two songs, ‘Desires’ and ‘D4L’. Other features include Young Thug.

The artist included previously released songs like, ‘Desires’, ‘Chicago Freestyle’ and hit song popularised on TikTok, ‘Toosie Slide’. Drake announced the album release date earlier in the day on Instagram.

“My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together alot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some  new vibes),” Drake wrote in the caption.

“DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight…”

Drake also announced his sixth studio album release will be summer 2020. The album would be the follow up to 2018’s ‘Scorpion’ which featured hits like ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘In My Feelings’.
