The European Union and India have announced they have reached a free trade agreement to deepen economic and strategic ties after years of negotiations. This historic free trade agreement, dubbed ‘ Mother of all deals’ is set to be a game changer deal that could affect almost 2 billion people.
European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made this announcement during their trip in India as a conclusion of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement.

Indian Prime Minister, Nanedra Modi says; ‘ Today is a day that will be remembered forever, marked indelibly in our shared history.‘
He further says;
This is a milestone in our relations which will strengthen our economic ties, create jobs for our youth, opportunities for our businesses, foster shared prosperity and stronger global supply chains.’
